Hi,
I can get Mplayer working but the mplayer plugin.dsl does not seem to work.

Is there anything else i have to do to get it to work? I have both in the optional directory and both appear in the dsl menu. Mplayer is added and works but not through the fiirefox. This means the plugin is not installed from the menu.

Looks like an extension modification may be in order here. I looked at the plugin dsl and it places the plugin in /opt/firefox/plugins/

Now that Firefox is intgrated, it has changed to /opt/firefox_plugins.

I may be missing a step but it appears that the mplayer plugin is not configured correctly. If you look in the plugin FAQ for mplayer and Firefox they talk about putting the two files in /usr/lib/plugins and /usr/lib/components. I know that firefox is located in /opt so I created a /components folder to see if that worked and it didn't. Maybe there need to be some symlinks? We also have the /.firefox_plugins dir in /opt that houses flash and java.

I admit I'm a little confused. Anyway, the plugin does not seem to be working correctly.

Thanks

Chris
