While I'm not using myDSL extensions per se, I am customizing DSL to work as a diagnostic utility boot CD for a network appliance. I know how to re-master the DSL CD and have customized it so that the system comes up to runlevel three and runs a menu-driven perl script I wrote.

What I seem unable to do is to customize the boot process, however. For example, I want the final ISO image to run in VGA mode 785 (640x480) by default, and remove the boot delay.

In my source area I've tried customizing the lilo.conf file before remastering but it's not having an effect. The CD still boots in XGA mode.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Scott

I'll answer my own question - looks like editing newcd/boot/isolinux/isolinux.cfg did the trick, so that's where you edit lilo options.
