Hi, How do I install non-MyDsl to the usb?

I am mostly talking about Tarball applications.

Cheers.

I would not suggest to do such.
As doing so would mean a completely writeable USB as provided by a traditional hard drive install. And that would mean quick failure of the device due to limited writes.

Better to remaster your own and then frugally install it to usb device.

what about adding /etc to backup and install the tarball there...

Will it help to create another partition in the usb stick and install all applications there?

Let me know :)

P.S.
Is there a way to make a tarball program into MyDsl Extension? Is it complicated?
