So I went to this site http://www.spcug.net/linuxinfo.html and downloaded the file they advised me to. I downloaded the 50meg.zip file and I know have it on my comp. There's a folder inside of there. Could someone tell me how to get this onto my 256mb pen drive? Should I get a bigger pen drive? Anyways, this is my first encounter with linux, many of my friens use it tho. I figured it would be perfect for booting at school.

I suppose I just copy the whole folder to teh pen drive, or can I just copy the files inside the folder? Sry for double post.

i think that site's describing an embedded install which you just run inside windows.

if you want to install on your pen drive, first download the .iso file (not the zip file), burn it on a cd, boot the cd and there's a menu where you can install to usb-pen.
