I just want to use another splash image which I can view while the DSL boots and also I want to change DSL logo to DSL-DEBIAN where I am supposed to edit for changing these settings.This I am trying with my Embedded DSL.I have also found a logo.16 image by replacing this whether I will be able to see different image while booting?? pls tell me where i can get different logos of this type or how can I create a new logo.

Pls give me more information on this if any one knows.

Yes it will.  Afaik it should be the same dimensions and also in 16-bit.
