Hello, I have just learned about DSL, and was searching in the forums for topics realting to a tutorial for installing, and booting DSL from a USB flash drive. Anyways, my school block a bunch of websites. One of my friends says that you can use DSL, and boot it from your flash drive (not installing on the schools computers!) go into firefox, and turn off the proxy, and go to any site you want. I was just wondering how I would go about doing this. what files to download, and how to boot from the USB flash drive. I didnt see any tutorials in the forum, or any "stickys." Thanks for your help!

turn off the proxy
No, that would be hacking your school network.  You can use another additional proxy instead, but that would probably be violating your terms of use anyways.
