I did plug it in after boot. I hadn't rebooted in a long time (Yea DSL!), so tried rebooting with the stick in. Ran fdisk, repartitioned and away we go. Seems to be working OK, I made a couple of test files, sent them to the pen, and they were there safe and sound. Thanks!!!!
