I think is sticking to usb 1.1, yet my USB stick and system is usb 2.0....

if I use the "dsl toram" option when booting, it takes quite a while to load it all to ram, and it would be a lot quicker if I could somehow use usb2 for the extra speed. :) Is this possible? How could I do this if it is?

You are already using USB2 speeds.

The ehci-hcd module that loads at boot is the USB2 module.

It takes my little usb1.1 keyfob almost 4 minutes to load toram, but the USB 2 will do it in about 90 secs.

Even with USB 2, the USB bus still has much less bandwidth than a PATA interface.

Ahh, ok that's great... I guess my usb2 pendrive takes just over a minute or two to copy everything to ram, I thought that seemed a long time, but I guess it's doing the whole 50meg so that would explain the wait. I find it runs a lot faster from ram, so it's worth the wait. :)
