I am getting "can't locate block-major-2" while booting.
It happens during the USB scan. Everything seems to work ok but I would like to know how to get rid of the error.

Any ideas?

Also, when I boot from USB pendrive it's automounting to /cdrom instead of /mnt/pendrive. Is it possible to change this?

Thanks in advance!

Apparently the "can't locate block-major-2" thing happens if you don't have a floppy drive connected

I think I got the same error message when booting on a Dell Optiplex GX280 (the computer has no floppy drive).
