Does DSL embedded works on Win XP without admin rights?

Hi guys I am yust trying the DSL on a Win XP machine. As I start qmeu.exe a window appear saying that an error occurred and that it should terminate the progrms.

Where the hell does that error come from?

Definitely qemu works without admin rights.

It looks like there's a problem with that binary.

This is truly an interesting error message. In looking it over there could be some type of capture program that is running that intercepts unauthorized exe and dll files.

Where is the computer you are attempting to run qemu on?

A school, library, etc. ?

Big Bros is watching me...
I think you are right, I re-downloaded dsl and checked the md5 yet, that is OK. I use the business machine but here they are pretty strict on private use of corporate PCs.
Besides do you have an idea on how the sysad can control your computer activity, such as soft installed, files dowloaded, e_mail send...?

That error is a sound error. Just google the the terms(Firelight Technologies Pty, Ltd , FMOD ,etc...) but it's windows, you haven't heard about the MS secret cache, it keeps a record of everything you do on windows and reports back when you do updates and "verify". Google
"MS secret cache" to find out how to see the files, it tracks everything. :p
