I have DSL embedded running in windows but I can't connect to my home network (I can in windows). It gets an ip address which is not on the network. I have tried changing the netcardconfig settings and it doesn't work with DHCP broadcast on or off. Can anyone help me?

In your qemu directory you have a qemu-doc.html file, view it in a browser you'll understand how the network works in QEMU.

I don't see the qemu-doc.html file in my qemu directory. I don't really understand those sites. Is there no easy way to connect to the network?

Normally, you do not need to do anything. That strange IP you get is normal. If your windows networking is up then Qemu embedded should passthru it. The Qemu is a client to your windows host and uses its IP. Those site references provide alternate networking capabilites. Once booted into Qemu, try using Dillo to access an outside site. It should work. What is it that you are trying to accomplish? Accessing window shares? If so use Samba.

Thanks, I saw the odd ip address and thought something was wrong so I tried to ping the router and some other computers on the network and it didn't work but I didn't think of just opening the web browser because I thought something was wrong.  The web browser can connect to the internet.
