I am designing a system for a client of mine that will run Bricolage to maintain his website, the architecture of the system recommends that the admin interface is located on a seperate server to the client server, and also requires Apache 1.3, the client server (which is shared) uses Apache 2.0. My client also doesn't have any Linux machines, nor does he particularly want one just to run Bricolage, which is understandable.
So, that's why I'm looking at DSL, he can run it under Qemu from his windows machines and everyone will be happy.
If I get Apache installed, will I be able to access it from another machine, or will I only be able to browse from the Qemu instance?
Also, as Bricolage requires PostgreSQL as it's db, I'd like to also install that on the usb stick too. Will I be able to do this, and will I need to do anything to ensure that the data is flushed to disk and not lost when the instance closes? Postgres will install on windows, so if this is not possible, it's less of a problem.
Thanks in advance.
