I was having problems like this post said.  Basically my text and fonts were all squished like my resolution was messed up.  I tried everything listed in that post,  but it did not work.
This is on a Windows XP Home machine with all the recent updates.  The graphics card that it has is an onboard Intel 82815 Graphics controller.  The driver was the driver that was installed by XP Home from Microsoft.  This driver was supposedly the most recent version.
But I had to get the drivers from Intel's website,  which was actually a previous version.  6.13.1.3196
I installed this version and walah,  dsl-embedded worked.

Just a quick note to everyone.

Oh and Thanks to all for this.
