Wondering if DSL project is willing to have a new turn on the distro - DSL-et maybe? - DSL with electronic design tools.
I plan on finding a distro willing to allow this and I'd be more than happy to help create/support it. I have some experience with creating, modifying and tweaking complex liveCDs.
My plans for this started as a personal toolbox, to use as a prototyping tool (for electronics systems) and being able to take a CD with the tools I need and a USB stick or disk with designs, a few materials to a customer's site and demonstrating to customers an ability to design/create/replicate electronics (origionally intended for robotics) on just about any type of hardware...
It could also be a tool to teach electronics design.
Anyone have an opinion?
