Ive used a few LSB packages of late on other systems. How hard would it be to get DSL to have LSB (Linux standard base) compliance ? Ive tried to apt-get LSB but there dont appear to be any packages available . LSB v3 or 3.1 would be nice. If we had this then conceivably we could get LSB packages and make MyDSL extensions out of them as well.
IS there some way to get this happening at all on the current DSL versions?

Interesting. Since LSB is just some standard defining places, what do those packages have?
