I have a fairly new Dell Desktop, with P4, 1 GB Ram, and I downloaded the syslinux version of 0.9.2 for use with it.
Previously, I could not get the isolinux version to boot. From the notes:

Robert put together a SysLinux version of 0.9.1. You folks who have older hardware which isn't compatible with IsoLinux can now boot the latest version of DSL from a CD like everyone else.

This is great, as many new computer users are going to get a Dell, and all of those need to be able to run DSL.

I hope this dual-version option is going to be available on new DSL versions, for a while, at least. Very good work, Robert, and all of us thank you.
I still can't get over how neat it is to have Firefox in there!

:D

Glad to hear that it is working for you.
Hopefully with this we can keep and add more DSL users.
I thought is was mainly older hardware that need it.
But apparently some newer Dell's need it too.
Since I don't have any isolinux challenged machines,
I asked user twoflatfish to test for me.
So a thanks to Stan, aka twoflatfish for helping test the syslinux version.

The syslinux version helped me install DSL on an old Packard Bell that I was ready to throw out with my wife's other new year's resolutions....  Thanks from me also.
