Hey,
This is GREAT! I get it install and working!
What I want to say is that make sure damn small linux is relaly damn small in the future! don't end up like red hat (I really hate red hat, big slow fat mess). May be dsl should be some sort of a terminal linux distribution, where all the heavy weight application are X11 forward from servers. dsl provides only software to play access local devices (like mp3 for sound card..), file manager.. things you cannot do remotely.
In short, keep it simple and damn small!
