I'm using DSL on an old Compaq Presario 1260 Laptop. DSL is installed on HD. I'm using a wireless e-Tech card based on a rt2500 chipset with ndiswrapper. But it sometimes freezes the whole computer after 15 or 30 minutes for an unknown reason (IRQ conflict?).

As the driver sources are freely available and as a rather large number of card manufacturers seem to use this chipset, would it be possible to integrate it in a next version?

Arnaud,
I just compiled the driver modules for Ralink rt2400/2500/2570 right now, as a mydsl package.  Email me if you want it.  The package is 216KB.

On the same line:

- integration of firmwares (firmware.agent and the ilssmthg I don't remember now) for the prism54 driver; it is then possible to go wlan with a frugal_install. Though it could be problematic because of the weight of the files...
