I've been trying out the mkmydsl to make a new custom cd. I figure running from a CD would be better than constantly saving changes to my flash drive, plus I have more options if I don't do the embedded selection.
Anyway, when using the make my dsl option, I can't seem to correctly save custom settings like background, icons, bookmarks on mozilla etc. I can save programs like office.org just fine, but that's it. I figure I'm using the .filetool.lst incorrectly. Whenever I make a change I find that directory in emelfm and click "Add2Filetool," then when I'm done with my custom settings I run the mkdsk utility and burn a new cd from the created ISO. That doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Any advice as to where I'm going wrong?
Also: I have 1 hard drive on my comp that dual boots XP Pro and Fedora Core 3. If I run DSL from CD how do I find the files saved on the hard drive? Do i just need to mount the drive? Then where do I find it?
Thanks in advance.
