Real player can be installed by getting the GTK libraries in MyDSL,GTK2,gtk2-0705.dsl and download it then right click the desktop and goto MyDSL and Update_To_GTK2 run it to install the update.  Download the linux RealPlayer Open up emelfm from the desktop , browse to whrere your name_of realplayerr.bin fiile is and cllick on the x at the bottom right of emelfm to open an x window in that directory, chmod +x name_of_realplayer.bin , ./name_of_realplayer.bin
follow the prompts. After instalation you must run real player once as a regular user to finsh the install.   Browse to realplay in your realplay dir and run it.  NONE of this is as root or your user configuration wont be right.  Last you need a symbolic link from Realplay (not realplay.bin) from your RealPlay directory to your bin directory... Right click the desktop goto xshells and a root console (yes root) and type emelfm to get proper permissions for emelfm and brows to realplayer directory on left and bin on right and highlight realplay on left and click symlink to put a link in the bin directory.  An environment variable is better than a symlink but I dont know how it should be worded.
