but in DSL i cant find it....is there another script in DSL substitue for that one?

If you use netcardconfig as stated above, then "/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0" will be created for you.

However I believe on Debian based systems it actually uses the configuration file called "/etc/network/interfaces" for network settings, which also seems to be created by netcardconfig.
