got a null modem serial cable? Thats how I installed mine.

To boot into dsl you only need the boot floppy and the KNOPPIX file in a KNOPPIX directory on a hard drive or cd on your machine. you can get the KNOPPIX file out of the iso using some decompression programs (no linux ones that I know).

So If you can find some way of getting the KNOPPIX file out of the iso into the computer then you're sweet.

personally I'd find someone to burn it for you it will save huge amount of hassle. My old laptop didn't have a CD rom drive.
