all my life i have been a windows lad BUT i changed to this after installing it onto a virtual PC and experimenting, i am still new and have no idea but i want to know how i would do something that is reletivly easy in windows
i want to access my windows PC`s shared folders on the network..
normally i would do in windows \\pcname\ and job done..
not so in linux any ideas i am running outta ideas on how to access the network. all i want todo is be able to listen to my music whilst i work on here but i cannot seem to get there.
the console hates me when i try that one lol also firefox got slightly confused as well.
nice clear instructions would be appreciated as i am a beginner in the biggest sence of the words.
thanks everyone Kris
