I've got an old Omnibook 4000 laptop with a Targus PCMCIA CD-ROM drive. I created a DSL boot floppy, but nothing I do allows the floppy to see the CD drive. When I try using "dsl frompcmcia" the installer asks me for a pcmcia modules disk. Any idea where to find such a thing? I can't find it mentioned in any documentation. Any other suggestions?

Well, that let me get at the CD-ROM. Now all I have to do is figure out why the display is distorted. I've tried setting xvesa to 640 X 480, 65K colors which my documentation says is what my screen is designed for, but I get a blue background with a Technicolor Saturn. Tried using VGA=785 but that hasn't helped. Don't suppose anyone out there has installed to an Omnibook 4000 before. . ?
