I have been using fedora core for a few months now ontop of my winxp. When my brothers laptop started encountering errors, i gave him a live dsl cd so he could use it until his IT department was back up. he isnt very technical and he didnt know how to save the mydsl. I figured im getting tired of the new fedora and ill harddrive install dsl over it, download some programs then remaster him a cd. After the successful hard drive installation, the grub menu wouldnt load, so i had to terminal my way though a successful dsl boot. I follwed the wiki and ran a install-grub /dev/hda. it was successful. I figured the problem was that all the choices in the menu file were commented off with #'s. when i deleted the #'s it loaded grub into the menu, and dsl loads but windows wont. It displays the commands for loading twindows followed by "GRUB_" It just sits there and does nothing. Any ideas?
EDIT: It might help to note that if i type in "chainloader +1" "boot" it just reloads GRUB.
