I am trying to save my hdparm settings.. Where do I do this at so when I reboot my settings are set.. Also, I have modprobe settings I need to input in manually.. Where do I add these to my startup scripts?

Add them to your

/opt/bootlocal.sh

file.  It is similar to the AUTOEXEC.BAT file with old MSDOS computers.

You will need to use the DSL backup/restore process to save this file so that it will be reloaded upon reboot.
