Hello
I have an old Texas Intruments Extensa Laptop with 100MHz and 16 MB Ram VGA -Graphic and so on...
I am not able to boot from cd so i tried the poormans install as described in the wiki:
i made a KNOPPIX folder on my C:\ Partition and copied the KNOPPIX file into it.
Then i added a boot folder into the KNOPPIX folder and copied everything into it.
no when i try to boot from my floppy it gives the following message:
"You passed an undefined mode number"
after that i pressed enter and gave him 4, 0F05 and scan but none of them worked, it seemed like he would go on but after a while it gives the error message that it couldn't find the minix, hfs and efs modules. and gives me the CLI.

When i try to give commands to the Cli the letters don't appear on the screen but after i've pressed 5 times return the command i've typed appears but i can't modify it.

I' ve tried to start dsl with dsl vga=773 and dsl install but the errors remained the same.

I'm not a native english speaker so please forgive any typos and not understandable sentences ;-)

thanks in advance

Hannes
