Hello,
i have an "Install-Problem". I have a IBM Thinkpad 310E. The HDD is splitted in:
HDA1 - DOS
HDA2 - SWAP
HDA3 - DSL3.01 Image (Rescue system)
HDA4 - For DSL
I have booted from a Floppydisk, the the X-Server don't start. DSL says "xinit: No such file od directory (errno2): unable to connect to X Server".
I have put a CF Card in the PCMCIA-Slot.
Then I have start the "4. Frugal Grub Hard Drive Install" to hda3, but DSL had had an error. I don't know the term anymore. But Grub isn't installed. But know I can boot with the floppy the DSL on DSL (X Server don't work).
I have tried many thinks, but I'm to stubid for the dslhdinstall on hda4. The files are already on hda4, but grub or lilo don't work.
And I think there is no kernel on hda3/4. Please help me.

P.S.: I have seen here that DSL works on a 380ED, I have tried
the boot parameters "fb800×600 vga=788", but I gat no X running.
