You mean the dillo window? If so those are basic instructions for using DSL. take some time and explore DSL in the right click menu you'll find the install to hard drive script that installs to hd. There are 2 ways to install DSL on the drive 1 way is hd, which is like any other computer setup, the other is frugal which is like a copy of the cd on the hard drive.

DSL itself has cfdisk which can be used for partitioning.

I faced the same problem as you even after partitioning harddisk correctly.

Thats because my Harddisk is of SATA type and currently DSL does not have SATA support For that we need to go for DSL-N.

See if your hard disk is SATA or anyother.
