I'm trying (and failing) to do the "debian-type" install ... don't know enough about linux to diagnose what's going wrong. Here's the thing: hda1 FAT32 (Win98) hda2 linux swap (64 MB) hda3 ext2 (350 MB)
No cdrom in this junker, but I've got a copy of the CD image on hda1 and boot it with the bootfloppy (fromhd=/dev/hda1) ... so far so good ... then I select "install to hd" from the Apps menu, and tell it to install to hda3 ... it formats okay and writes the files, but then things start to go bad

At this point it asks if I want to install a bootloader (yes):

Next question is which bootloader (grub), and then it says it's time to reboot ... but, of course, grub fails to boot DSL. Any suggestions for the noob?
