Hello,

I'm running the latest DSL (hard-drive install) on a IBM Thinkpad 390e.
Info about laptop: Thinkpad 390e
If I keep using the computer it seems to be fine, but if I walk away from it for exactly 10 minutes I come back to a computer that is totally unresponsive and requires a hard reset. I have watched the clock on the computer and verified that at exactly 10 min the time stops increasing.
I've gone into the BIOS and disabled all the APM stuff I could find but this doesn't seem to help.
Any suggestions?
Is there power management options I should look at?

P.S. I does it when I run DSL off the CD too.

I checked and it was already starting with the noapm switch, so I tried the  xset entry and ya! it doesn't freeze now. Thanks!
I searched the forum for quite a while before posting but I guess I didn't use the keywords that was in that thread.
Thanks again!
