I'm having no luck trying to install DSL 4.1. I've partitioned my drive with ext2, and created a swap file. But when I trying booting a live CD I getting "Unable to find a Knoppix file system? Anyone know the fix for this? Thanks.

What kind of cd drive are you booting with?  If it's sata, you can try booting with the "sata" cheatcode.
