I was trying to run DSL on old Pentium I - 150MHz machine with 64RAM but the booting (from CD, floppy + HD image, HD install (installed on other computer, lilo working)) stops atd the HW detection...i got nice green progress bar.....DONE. and that all....even numlock doesn't work...

I have part of this problem as well. I've installed DSL on a 356Mhz Pentium with 64Meg of RAM and a 4Gig HDD.

It works fine except the numlock doesn't work. Does anyone know how to activate it?

(I want to set up a network of 8-16 PCs for my CCNA re-certification then my CCNP certification and doen't want to add to Bully, er Billy Boy's already vast fortune by setting the machines up with Windows)
