Have 2 512MB CF cards on a dual CF to IDE converter on the primary IDE of my mobo. DSL sees them and lets me mount them and put things on them, but when I try to cfdisk them to get them ready for frugal, it says fatal error, cant open disk drive. Any suggestions?

cfdisk defaults to /dev/hda
are your CF cards /dev/hda or something else?

I think he got this figured out on IRC. If this is the same person, he was trying "/dev/hda1" instead of "/dev/hda"

Did get it solved on IRC, and thanks to all who helped. Now the problem is when I boot off of the CF's, the screen just puts a L in the upper left corner with the cursor behind it and does nothing. Anyone have a guess?
