I have finally tried a frugal install on my laptop, on which I also have Debian (sarge). I booted up the live-CD and chos frugal install from the menu. My idea was to choose not to install lilo, because I already had grub with Debian, and I wanted to continue using that. Too late did I understand that lilo was installed anyway, and lilo didn't recognise that Debian was also installed on my computer... So, now I have a working frugal installed DSL (which I love), but I cannot boot Debian anymore (which I hate!). With a regular hd-installed DSL I would simply install grub from apt and make the appropriate changes to the grub menu, but is this possible with a frugal install? Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do? Can I somehow delete lilo and get my grub back, or ... what can I do???
