Hi, I just installed DSL on my laptop HD and now when i use emelFM to try to copy some file from my floppy to my folder, there's no file in the floppy and same for the cd rom. But when it boots up, the system said it already mount it for me.  I try mounting it myself but it don't work.  What should I do??

It is important that you go to the /mnt/auto/floppy mountpoint and not the /mnt/floppy location. /mnt/floppy is just a symbolic link that points to the real location which is /mnt/auto/floppy.

Try running the following from an Xterminal (rxvt) window:

mount /mnt/auto/floppy
emelfm /mnt/auto/floppy

or

mount /mnt/auto/cdrom
emelfm /mnt/auto/cdrom

You can also do the mounting from inside emelfm by doing the following:

go to the /mnt directory
go to the auto subdirectory
SINGLE-click on the floppy or cdrom subdirectory so that it is highlighted in BLUE.
Right click on the floppy or cdrom directory and choose "Mount" from the context menu.

Later on, you can unmount your disk by going to the same context menu and choose "unmount".

Good Luck.
