DSL works fine from my HD. Now I'm tailoring a bit. One thing bothers me, I can't figure out how to make my network card configuration persistent after the following reboot.

I mean, it works (I'm posting this from my DSL box...), but next time I reboot, I have to configure my network interface again.

Can anyone help please?

In DSL Panel, there's button which can Exports your settings onto floppy.

I solved the problem. It was simply a matter of making the right symbolic links in the /etc/rc?.d directories (to the /etc/init.d/networking script.
