hi. i'm a bit new to linux as a whole, but i am quite familiar with computers. I have an old laptop (panasonic toughbook) which doesn't have a CD-ROM drive, nor a floppy, and the usb doesn't seem to really work. however, i have an adapter to hook the laptop's harddrive up to the usb of my desktop. I want to install DSL onto the harddrive (its only 2gb) this way, but I can't find the harddrive in DSL. or, i'm just missing something period. any direction would be helpful.
Also, has anyone else experienced their mouse freezing up after about 5 minutes when running DSL off of a CD? I can still navigate around, but just not via the mouse...
