If you have a CD burner, the easiest way is to download the iso file and burn it to a CD. Then install it from the CD. You can either do that from the floppy boot disk, or if your machine will boot from the CD do it that way. Let us know if you have problems.

Also, you will need to make a linux partition on your harddrive, you could try Partition Tragic or cfdisk within linux. If your computer manufactuer set your BIOS to not boot to a CD before your harddrive your going to have to change some BIOS settings. I would also backup your registry and diffrent things in Windoze, incase something goes wrong with LILO or the install. G/L

No, see DsL is not like a normal distro, its a LiveCD meaning its made to be run from a CD, But this LiveCD has a dsl-hdinstall option that you use to make a harddrive install, check the FAQ section at the main site.
