Hello folks.
Well, I thought I could install DSL. But rather than chance it on a computer that isn't technically mine, I thought I'd experiment on my ancient laptop. Good thing, too, cause I have no idea how to do this.
I have the 1.5 DSL CD. I boot up, and I get the opening DSL screen telling me to hit F2 or F3 for boot options. I when I do this, I don't see an option for frugal. On the F3 page, there's the "install" command, which brings me to a black screen where I get about 10 options. One says something like "grub install with frugal" or something like that. I choose that, but after (apparently) blanking my HD I reboot to a grub prompt. I don't really know what to do from there.
So, what I need to know is how do a I do a frugal install? I looked at the wiki, but I didn't see anything. I see a lot of questions here on this forum, but nothing that gives a step by step explanation about how to do a frugal. Maybe I'm just blind...
