I'm thinking of using OpenOffice with DSL and I want to know whether you guys think I should do a HD or a Flugal installation.

I have already tried OpenOffice with a flugal install and it took about 2~3 mins to load up. However things went all wrong after one reboot, cause I originally downloaded/installed it and placed it in my /optional folder and then after 1 reboot obviously OpenOffice was not installed anymore was gone.

But then I copied it to my 'automatically install at startup' folder and so it tried to install openoffice at startup but just didn't install and gave heaps of errors which lead me having to manually reboot.

So basically, my theory is that, if i do a HD install, OpenOffice won't have to be installed at every start up and thus saving time.

Also, I tried AbiWord and when I opened a word doc, all i got were question marks, if anyone has any ideas to fix it that'll be great.

Thanks all
