You need to run cfdisk in a terminal to make partitions of the free space. You should see it in the cfdisk list as "free space." After you select the free space you will see menus at the bottom of the terminal that should guide you along. You can choose a size for your partitions one at a time intill you have used up the free space. Do a google search on making and formatting partitions in Linux to get complete details.
