hi everybody. dsl great discovery. now Im able to recover my old boxes. right now I'm using an old pentium mmx 166Mhz. 38Mb ram, 422 Mb HD. with dsl 2.1 in hard disk install mode. my question is about creative notebook PD1171 web cam. I'm trying to mke it work but I can't. I hve istalled gtkam, gqcam, motion, camserve mydsl extensions but it seems dsl dont recognize the webcam. I downloaded the spca5xx driver(the one that supports my PD1171 web cam) but I cant compile it.
I'm quite newbie in linux and my target is to use a webcam with dsl, not specially my creative webcam, so, if anyone knows about common webcams that do work with an out of the box dsl..................thanks a lot and excuse me for my english.
