I have a Debian type HD install of DSL 2.2 and I recently loaded & installed Macromedia Flash ver 7. It works fine on both Firefox and Opera, but text is not displayed correctly or at all on Flash windows.

The Flash installer script told me that I need gsfonts and gsfonts-x11 packages. So I tried to install them with Synaptic, but when I select them to install, Synaptic says it wants to install or update only one package and remove lots more, which would free some 100MB of HD space... I did not proceed.

So it seems those packages (GhostScript somethings) are already part of DSL...? but don't work properly with Flashpalyer?

I don't know much about package managing but have succesfully installed several packages with Synaptic.

What could be the problem? Thanks for any help.
