When trying to listen to any audio...for example on the 'youtube' website...video is great, but audio sounds like Alvin and the Chipmucks at high speed....what's up with that?

The flash player for linux is not anywhere near as good as those for windows or mac. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Blame Macromedia for not caring about us.

Hmmm, Mine worked fine i watched a few of the videos. What version of firefox are you using? Perhaps try going to the flash site and downloading and copying the plugins to /usr/local/firefox/plugins again.
