How should I install Flash and Java on DSL? I am completely lost.

And thank you for DSL! It has transformed an old computer gathering dust into a funtional system.

Hi,

1. flash: download the plugin, uncompress, install it with the flash installer from command line (read the readme file provided with the player) or move the flashplayer.xpt plugin to /ramdisk/home/dsl/.mozilla/plugins;
2. java is in the appropriate repository (UCI); just download it with the mydsl browser.
