I'm just getting to know DSL. I have a little experience with linux, however now BIG problems with getting the network set up. In the Control panel -> PCMCIA tool the card is detected and recognized. During the boot I get the message "ignoring unknown interface eth0". After boot I can configure the network settings (ip, gw ...) from Control Panel but can't access the net.
Is there something I have missed or misunderstood? Is it a mount problem? Do I need to get some additional drivers or should I get a different card?
Using a Xircom CreditCard Ethernet+Modem II Adapter (CEM2) pcmcia on a IBM 380ED with DSL 2.0 Live-CD.
would be grateful for any help
