I am having trouble getting a wireless PCMCIA card (D-Link DWL-G650) working with the most recent version of DSL.  I found that with DSL 2.1 and the madwifi.dsl extension this card worked great. I suppose this was do to the recently compiled modules for the 2.4.31 kernel.  I was wondering if anyone had any pointers for compiling a new set of modules for the 2.4.26 kernel.

Thank You  I

The older madwifi modules are compiled into the 2.4.26 kernel. They should load up on boot. In a terminal do lsmod to see if they are there. If they are, then you may need to do a sudo su, then modprobe ath_pci.o to get them started. Then you should be able to use the iwconfig button in the myDSL panel to set your parms.
