Let me describe my setup for everyone, I'll try to be as clear as possible.

HostOS: Microsoft WinXP Professional SP2
Virtualization: Microsoft Virtual PC
Of course I am running the latest version of DSL.

Currently I am connected into my company's network which all traffic is directed through a proxy server.  I have all proxy information configured with username's and passwords.  On my Windows machine I am able to browse without a hitch.  On the DSL install I am only able to browse the local web servers content.  I was wondering if there is a way I can authenticate on the network via DSL.  I believe that would all me to access the outside internet to browse.

If that doesn't work or is not easy to implement is there anyway to route DSL's traffic through my Windows machine then out via the network?

Thanks in advance for your help.  If there is any other information I could provide to further assist you just let me know.
BTW- I am able to transfer files to my DSL install using SAMBA from a network share on my windows box just incase I need to download/install something.

I'm guessing you probably have to give DSL the proxy information as well.

I have only used VMWare, where I used the NAT setting to connect to my existing network.  (The host was also the network server in this case).  You could also try bridging your connection... check out other networking options in your VPC.
