Hello!
I boot DSL from my USB driver, and there are two problems puzzled me:
1. DHCP in XP,but Fixed IP address in DSL,WHY?
In WINXP,my PC is using DHCP. I need not make any setting before my access to Internet.
But when I transfer to DSL, I found that DHCP failed in DSL. And I have to set fixed IP address, gate....... before my access to Internet.
I hope someone could help me about this problem, thanks.
2.My setting of Fixed IP address could not be saved.
Certainly Fixed IP address could assure my access to Internet, but I could not saved this setting. When I reboot the computer, DHCP appears again,and I have to set the Fixed IP address again each time after my rebooting the DSL.
But something strange is that every setting, EVERY setting could be saved , except the network setting(Fixed IP address ),Why?
